**Montgomery, AL** – The Alabama National Fair is closing out with a bang, offering fairgoers three nights of free concerts alongside classic fair attractions. From October 9th to 12th, those admitted to the fair during the second half can head over to Garrett Coliseum for a diverse lineup of musical entertainment.
The music kicks off on October 9th at 7 p.m. with **The Memphis Show Band**, featuring Montgomery’s own Brad Bradley, delivering a night of Elvis Presley nostalgia. This local band, boasting over a century of combined musical experience, promises to transport audiences back to the King’s era.
On October 11th at 7 p.m., Grammy-winning R&B and soul artist **Anthony Hamilton** will take the stage. Known for his defining voice and platinum-selling album “Comin’ From Where I’m From,” Hamilton is sure to deliver a soulful and unforgettable performance.
The grand finale on October 12th, which is also Hero Day, features American music icon **Lee Greenwood** at 7 p.m. Greenwood, the Grammy Award winner, is known for hits like “It Turns Me Inside Out” and “I.O.U.” However, his most iconic song, “God Bless the USA,” has resonated with audiences for decades, becoming a symbol of unity and American pride. As Greenwood told the Advertiser in 2019, he aimed to write a song “that would pull all of us together, like we’re supposed to be under one flag.”
Beyond the concerts, fairgoers can enjoy a wide range of competitions, including the Creative Living Center, School Art Show, Mounted Shooting, Flower Show, and Robotics. Returning free shows include the Zerbini Family Circus, Swifty Swine Racing Pigs, The Puppetone Rockers, and Cowtown USA.
Attendees are encouraged to arrive at Garrett Coliseum a little before 7 p.m. each night to secure a seat. The Alabama National Fair runs through October 12th. For a complete schedule of events, visit alnationalfair.org.
