**’Bigg Boss Kannada’ House Sealed Over Environmental Violations, Airtime Disrupted**

**Bidadi, Karnataka –** The “Bigg Boss Kannada 12” house, located at Jolly Wood Studios & Adventures in the Bidadi Industrial Area, has been sealed by authorities following a damning inspection revealing multiple environmental violations. The Karnataka State Pollution Control Board (KSPCB) ordered the immediate cessation of all activities at the site after discovering untreated wastewater discharge, improper waste management, and the operation of polluting diesel generators.

The violations came to light after a site inspection prompted by complaints and protests from activists from Kasturi Karnataka Janapara Vedike, who decried the ongoing pollution and demanded the show’s filming be halted. Inspectors found that while the production team claimed to have installed a 250 KLD-capacity Sewage Treatment Plant (STP), the facility was non-operational and lacked crucial drainage connections. Untreated wastewater was being released into the environment.

Furthermore, the KSPCB discovered that solid waste, including plastic cups and paper plates, was not being properly sorted or documented. Two large diesel generator sets were also found running on-site, adding to the pollution load.

“Wastewater was being disposed of without treatment, which could harm the local ecosystem,” a KSPCB official stated. “These actions broke both state and national regulations and required urgent corrective measures.”

The sudden shutdown has caused a disruption in the show’s broadcast schedule. Colors Kannada issued a statement on X, apologizing for the disruption in airtime and confirming that the episode was available for viewing on JioHotstar.

“Due to unforeseen reasons, there was a disruption in the airing time of today’s episode of ‘Bigg Boss’ on Jio Hotstar. We apologize for this inconvenience. Today’s episode is now available for viewing on JioHotstar (sic),” the statement read.

The popular reality show, hosted by Kannada star Kichcha Sudeep, now faces an uncertain future. The fate of “Bigg Boss Kannada 12” hinges on Jolly Wood Studios & Adventures’ ability to rectify the environmental violations and comply with all regulations. Until then, filming and related activities at the ‘Bigg Boss Kannada 12’ house will remain suspended. The contestants currently inside the house will be required to vacate the premises.
