**Australia Announces Squad for India ODIs, Renshaw Returns, Marsh to Captain**

**Sydney, Australia -** Cricket Australia today announced its squad for the upcoming three-match One Day International (ODI) series against India, starting October 19th. Queensland batter Matthew Renshaw has been recalled to the squad and is in line to make his ODI debut.

Mitchell Marsh will captain the 15-man squad in the absence of Pat Cummins, who is focusing on recovering from a lumbar bone stress injury in preparation for the Ashes series.

Renshaw, who has impressed with Queensland, scoring 350 runs at an average of 50 last season, and recently notching scores of 80, 106, and 62 against Sri Lanka A.

The pace attack will be led by veterans Mitchell Starc and Josh Hazlewood, with support from Xavier Bartlett and Ben Dwarshuis.

Alex Carey will miss the first ODI to participate in South Australia’s Sheffield Shield match and will also skip the T20I series to prepare for the Ashes. Josh Inglis returns to the T20 squad, while Glenn Maxwell remains sidelined due to a wrist fracture. Cameron Green will continue his Test preparation following the ODI leg.

**T20 Squad Announced for First Two Matches**

Australia has also named a 14-man squad for the first two T20 Internationals following the ODI series.

Chairman of Selectors George Bailey stated the squad selections are intended to balance preparing for the upcoming World Cup and ensuring certain players are ready for the Test series.

* October 25: Third ODI, Sydney

* October 29: First T20I, Canberra
* October 31: Second T20I, Melbourne
