**NEW DELHI – October 6, 2025** – In response to a recent incident where nearly 400 people were hospitalized after consuming contaminated buckwheat flour, Delhi Health Minister Pankaj Kumar Singh announced a city-wide crackdown on adulterated food items on Sunday. Speaking at the launch of a new ambulance service, the Minister emphasized the government’s commitment to public safety and warned offenders of severe consequences.

“In view of the ongoing festive season, our teams are fully active regarding adulterated food items,” Minister Singh stated. “Continuous inspections are under way across Delhi. We have already conducted raids at several places, and this campaign will continue.” He assured citizens that no individual or entity involved in the production or sale of counterfeit goods will be spared.
