**VIJAYAWADA, October 6, 2025** – Andhra Pradesh is set to become a leading drone technology hub with the announcement of plans for a “Drone City” in Orvakal. Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu announced that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lay the foundation for the project during his visit to Srisailam on October 16th. A Drone Show is also planned for December to showcase the state’s advancements in drone technology across various sectors.

During a review meeting on the Real-Time Governance Society (RTGS), Chief Minister Naidu emphasized the crucial role drones will play in the future of Andhra Pradesh. He highlighted their potential in medical and agricultural fields and for delivering goods.
