**Indian Army Chief Issues Stark Warning to Pakistan Over Terrorism**
**New Delhi – October 3, 2025** – In a strongly worded statement issued today, Chief of the Army Staff General Upendra Dwivedi warned Pakistan that its continued support of state-sponsored terrorism could lead to dire consequences for the nation’s geopolitical standing.
Speaking to troops stationed in the forward area of Anupgarh, Rajasthan, General Dwivedi emphasized the Indian Army’s readiness and vigilance. “India is fully prepared this time and won’t show the restraint we exhibited during Operation Sindoor 1.0. This time we will take a step forward and act in a manner that will make Pakistan think whether it wants to remain on the world map or not,” he stated.
General Dwivedi referenced “Operation Sindoor,” launched following the Pahalgam terror attack in April, where Indian forces reportedly struck nine terrorist sites within Pakistan. He emphasized that India has provided proof of the destroyed targets, countering previous denials from Islamabad and pointed to casualties mistakenly released by Pakistan that included over 100 Pakistani soldiers in addition to terrorists killed.
The Army Chief highlighted the widespread international support India received after Operation Sindoor, stating the world has recognized India’s right to retaliate against terrorism.
During his visit, General Dwivedi engaged with senior military leaders, veterans, and civilians, reaffirming the Indian Army’s commitment to modernization, technological advancements, and operational excellence. He specifically emphasized the integration of unmanned aerial systems and counter-UAS capabilities to combat evolving threats.
General Dwivedi acknowledged the support from citizens during past conflicts and encouraged their continued unity with the soldiers, bolstering morale.
