Sat Sep 27 12:30:00 UTC 2025: **Iowa Hawkeyes Set to Clash with Ranked Indiana in Homecoming Showdown**

**IOWA CITY, IA** – The University of Iowa Hawkeyes (4-0) are gearing up to host the No. 11/12 ranked Indiana Hoosiers (3-1) this Saturday at Kinnick Stadium for their annual Homecoming game. Kickoff is scheduled for 2:35 p.m. CT, and the game will be streamed on Peacock.

Iowa enters the contest riding a four-game winning streak against Indiana and having won eight of the last nine matchups since 2008. The Hawkeyes also boast a strong Homecoming record, winning six of their last seven and eight of their last ten Homecoming games. In all-time Homecoming games, Iowa is 63-44-5.

The Hawkeyes’ defense has been a key factor in their early success, ranking among the nation’s best in rushing defense (7th), total defense (13th), and scoring defense (24th). Their special teams are also making waves, with the punt return unit ranking second nationally and the kickoff return unit at 16th.

Key to Iowa’s offensive performance is graduate quarterback Mark Gronowski, who has already etched his name in the record books. Last week, in the road win against Rutgers, he became the winningest quarterback in NCAA history with his 52nd career win. In addition to that, he rushed for three touchdowns at Rutgers – the most by a Hawkeye since 1990.

Wide receiver Kaden Wetjen has been a standout on special teams. Wetjen has a 95-yard punt return for a touchdown and a 100-yard kickoff return for a touchdown this season.

A victory against Indiana would mark Iowa’s first win over a ranked opponent since defeating No. 4 Penn State in 2021.
