Sat Sep 27 01:20:00 UTC 2025: **Chandrababu Expresses Anger Over TDP MLAs’ Behavior in Assembly**
**Amaravati, Andhra Pradesh – September 27, 2025** – Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has expressed his strong displeasure over the behavior of some Telugu Desam Party (TDP) MLAs in the state assembly. According to sources, Naidu reprimanded several MLAs for deviating from the party line, targeting ministers with personal agendas, and turning the assembly into a platform for lobbying.
The Chief Minister’s outburst reportedly occurred during a meeting with senior leaders and ministers in his chamber on Friday. He specifically addressed concerns about several incidents, including:
* **Bojjala Sudheer Reddy’s** remarks about his letters to the CM, Lokesh, and Home Minister regarding a transfer request.
* **Burla Ramanjaneyulu’s** controversial comments on social media posts.
* **Pitani Satyanarayana’s** criticism of the Home Department’s handling of social media issues.
* The heated exchange between **Kamineni Srinivas and Nandamuri Balakrishna**.
* **Bonda Uma Maheswara Rao’s** allegations against the PCB Chairman.
Naidu questioned the role of Minister Payyavula Keshav and the party whips in monitoring the MLAs’ conduct and ensuring they adhere to party principles. He emphasized that there is no difference between TDP and YCP if TDP follows the path of wrongful imprisonment and illegal lawsuits.
“It is true that there is no opposition in the legislative assembly! It is also true that the members of the ruling party are playing the role of the opposition and raising public issues! But… some TDP MLAs have taken more ‘freedom’ and criticized the ministers with strong comments and raised questions with their own agendas,” he reportedly stated.
Naidu also stressed the importance of upholding legal and ethical standards and cautioned against the misuse of power. He suggested that other MLAs should learn from senior members like Buchaiah Chowdary, who focus on subject-matter discussions without targeting individuals.
While there was an initial consideration to hold a TDLP (Telugu Desam Legislature Party) meeting on Saturday to address the issue, a final decision is yet to be made.
