**Hayley Erbert’s Touching Gesture at Britt Stewart and Daniel Durant’s Wedding Goes Viral**
**Santa Margarita, CA -** Newlyweds Britt Stewart, a Dancing with the Stars pro, and deaf actor Daniel Durant, celebrated their marriage on August 23rd at Riata Ranch in Santa Margarita, California. But it was a touching gesture from Stewart’s best friend, Hayley Erbert, that is now capturing hearts online.
Erbert, also known for her work as a professional dancer and her marriage to Derek Hough, went above and beyond in her role as maid of honor. Despite undergoing emergency surgery to replace a large portion of her skull that was removed during an emergency craniectomy, Erbert dedicated herself to learning American Sign Language (ASL) so she could deliver a portion of her speech directly to Durant.
Hough documented Erbert’s dedication in a TikTok video, showing her practicing her speech in ASL in various locations. The caption explained that Erbert wanted to connect with Durant on a deeper level during the special day.
“Daniel, you make Brit shine brighter than ever,” Erbert said in her speech. “You are her perfect balance, steady and grounding. Yet you let her [Stewart] be all of who she is.”
The video has gone viral, with fans praising Erbert’s heartfelt effort and resilience. The wedding was attended by numerous stars from the Dancing with the Stars family, including Julianne Hough, Alfonso Ribeiro, Johnny Weir, Jenna Johnson, and many more.
