**TTD Enhances Security and Awareness for Brahmotsavam Pilgrims; Urges Vigilance Against Exploitation**

**Tirupati, [Date]** – As the annual Sri Venkateswara Swamy Brahmotsavam approaches, the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), in coordination with various departments, has implemented robust arrangements for the accommodation and safety of pilgrims. Authorities are emphasizing the importance of pilgrim awareness regarding available facilities, rights, and safety measures to prevent exploitation.

With large groups of families and friends expected, the TTD is urging pilgrims to immediately report any lost individuals, especially the elderly or women, to the nearest police officer or help desk. Missing person reports can be filed at local police stations, and investigators will assist in the search. Tagging services are available to help prevent individuals from getting separated.

Pilgrims are advised that Tirupati offers 250 homestays and 700 hotels/lodges. Rooms should be allocated at the prices displayed on official boards. Access to drinking water, parking, and restroom facilities must be provided. Any instances of disrespectful behavior or overcharging should be reported to the Command Control Room via the provided contact number.

For transportation to Tirumala via jeeps or taxis, fixed rates have been set at ₹110 for adults and ₹60 for children. Overcharging due to high demand should be reported to on-duty police or RTA staff. Bike and car rentals are available for those wishing to explore Tirumala and the surrounding areas independently.

Auto-rickshaw drivers who overcharge or behave rudely should be reported to the Dial 112 or 80999 99977 helpline. These numbers can also be used to report traffic congestion.

In case of a lost mobile phone, immediately register it on the ‘CEIR.COM’ portal to prevent data misuse. Pilgrims can also file a complaint by sending a “Hi” message to the District Police’s Mobile Hunt WhatsApp number and filling out the form provided.

The TTD urges pilgrims to report any theft of gold chains, purses, or bags to on-duty police officers or the nearest police station. By being vigilant and aware of available resources, pilgrims can ensure a safe and fulfilling Brahmotsavam experience.
