Tue Sep 23 12:30:00 UTC 2025: **South Park Co-Creator Denies Censorship Amid Episode Delay**

Denver, CO – Despite rampant speculation online, “South Park” co-creator Matt Stone insists the recent delay of a new episode was simply due to production delays, not censorship or any fallout from current events.

The announcement of the delay sparked theories among fans, fueled by the recent controversies surrounding other late-night shows, including Jimmy Kimmel’s temporary suspension. Some speculated that the show’s often-pointed political satire, particularly after an episode featuring a satirical depiction of Charlie Kirk was pulled following his death, might have been a factor.

However, Stone stated unequivocally in an interview with The Denver Post, “No one pulled the episode, no one censored us, and you know we’d say so if true. We just didn’t get it done. When you always cut it close, sometimes you mess up. That’s the price of being a procrastinator.”

“South Park” is currently in its 27th season and is known for its rapid production cycle, often reflecting current events. This famously chaotic process is the subject of the 2011 documentary “6 Days to Air: The Making of South Park.”

The delayed episode is now scheduled to air on Wednesday, Sept. 24. “It’s gonna be great,” Stone promised.

In other news, Stone, who co-owns the iconic Casa Bonita restaurant with Trey Parker, announced an upcoming Halloween and Dia de los Muertos-themed pop-up event, “Casa BOOnita,” scheduled for October.
