Sat Sep 20 18:10:00 UTC 2025: ## Beavers Face Uphill Battle Against Ducks After Dismal Start
**EUGENE, OR** – The Oregon State Beavers (0-3) are set to face a daunting challenge this Saturday as they travel south on I-5 to take on their undefeated and fifth-ranked rivals, the Oregon Ducks (3-0). Kickoff is scheduled for noon at Autzen Stadium.
The Beavers, reeling from their first 0-3 start since 2011, are looking to turn their season around after a disappointing loss last week to No. 16 Texas Tech. The Red Raiders offense torched the Beavers defense for over 500 yards and 45 points, exposing significant weaknesses.
Offensively, Oregon State has struggled to find consistency. Star running back Anthony Hankerson has been largely contained, amassing only 190 rushing yards and one touchdown in three games. While quarterback Maalik Murphy has shown promise, the passing game has yet to translate into victories.
The matchup against Oregon presents an even tougher challenge. The Ducks boast one of the nation’s most potent offenses, ranking fourth in points per game. They are dominant in both rushing and passing, making them a formidable opponent on both sides of the ball.
The game will be broadcast on the Big Ten Network, with Jeff Levering and Jack Butt providing commentary from the booth and Brooke Fletcher reporting from the sidelines. Streaming options are available through Fubo, which offers a free trial for new subscribers.
