Sat Sep 20 01:10:00 UTC 2025: ## “The Morning Show” Season 4 Tackles Deepfakes, AI, and Trust in a Fractured World
**NEW YORK** – Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon are back as Alex Levy and Bradley Jackson in Season 4 of Apple TV+’s “The Morning Show,” premiering September 17th. Nearly two years after the events of Season 3, the newly merged UBA-NBN newsroom will grapple with a landscape rife with deepfakes, conspiracy theories, and corporate cover-ups, forcing them to confront the elusive nature of truth in a polarized America.
“Our main theme this season is trust – who can you trust?” said director and executive producer Mimi Leder at the show’s New York premiere. She emphasized that while the show has tackled real-world events in the past, this season will steer clear of the 2024 Presidential Election. Instead, it will focus on broader issues such as AI, deepfakes, environmental tragedies, and the challenges faced by journalists. “Our show is not about elections; our show is about the world… It’s about democracy. It’s about journalists in jeopardy,” Leder explained.
Aniston echoed the excitement, telling People that the upcoming season is a “great one… It’s jam-packed, that’s for sure.”
Season 4 will consist of ten episodes, released weekly on Wednesdays through November 19th. While Apple TV+ did not specify release times, previous seasons of the series and the network’s other content have been available to view sometime overnight Pacific Time.
The trailer for Season 4, released August 20th, promises high stakes and intense drama for the cast, which includes returning stars Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon, and more. No announcements have been made regarding a potential Season 5.
