Sat Sep 20 06:40:00 UTC 2025: ## Telangana Government Grants Special Show, Ticket Hikes for Pawan Kalyan’s “They Call Him OG”

**Hyderabad, India** – Anticipation is reaching fever pitch for the upcoming release of Sujeeth’s “They Call Him OG,” starring Pawan Kalyan, Emraan Hashmi, and Priyanka Mohan. The film, a gangster drama set in Mumbai, is slated for theatrical release on September 25th.

Adding fuel to the hype, the Telangana government has issued a Government Order (GO) permitting a special premiere show of “They Call Him OG” on September 24th, a day before its official release. Tickets for this exclusive screening will be priced at ₹800. This decision has stirred considerable buzz, particularly as Andhra Pradesh is only allowing the earliest shows at 1 AM on September 25th, albeit with tickets priced higher at ₹1000 for a benefit show.

The GO also authorizes a hike in ticket prices for the first ten days of the film’s release, from September 25th to October 4th. Single-screen tickets will see an increase of ₹100, bringing the average price to ₹277. Multiplex tickets will be hiked by ₹150, resulting in an average price of ₹445.

The discrepancy between the Telangana and Andhra Pradesh premiere schedules has sparked some frustration among fans in Andhra Pradesh. Social media platforms like X (formerly Twitter) have seen users questioning the fairness of the situation and inquiring about the possibility of early morning shows on the release day.

“It’s Not fair..TG okla, AP KI okla,” one user wrote, reflecting the sentiment of many who feel the distribution is unequal.

“They Call Him OG,” directed by Sujeeth and produced by DVV Danayya and Kalyan Dasari under DVV Entertainment, features Pawan Kalyan as the titular character, Ojas Gambheera, a powerful gangster. The film also stars Emraan Hashmi in his Telugu debut, alongside Arjun Das, Prakash Raj, and others. The music is composed by Thaman S. The film has generated a lot of excitement.
