Tourism Minister R. Rajendran announced that 9,552 people have benefited from the initiative after inspecting a camp held at a private school in Masinaickenpatti on Saturday.

According to Minister Rajendran, six medical camps were held in Salem, providing a range of services including blood tests (7,427 people), ECG examinations (5,703 people), ultrasound scans (1,040 people), echo screenings (1,143 people), and X-rays (787 people). Seventeen medical departments provided expert services, ensuring comprehensive healthcare access to the community. The Minister emphasized that all examinations, including ECG and blood tests, are conducted free of charge.

During his inspection, Minister Rajendran also distributed differently-abled identity cards to beneficiaries. Rajya Sabha MP S.R. Sivalingam, District Collector R. Brindha Devi, Joint Director (Medical Services) S.P. Nandhini, and District health officers Soundammal and Yoganand were also present at the event.
