**REDWOOD CITY, CA –** EA SPORTS has unveiled details for *EA SPORTS FC™ 26*, launching worldwide on September 26, 2025, with Ultimate Edition early access beginning September 19th. The latest installment promises a refreshed approach to Live Content across Football Ultimate Team™, Clubs, and Career Mode, designed to celebrate football’s biggest stories and deliver more variety and balance.

A key focus of *FC 26* is a deliberate slowdown of the power curve, meaning upgrades will be paced out more gradually than in *FC 25*. Squads will be lower-rated at comparable points in the season, and weekly campaign drops will feature smaller attribute boosts. Chemistry Styles have also been rebalanced to support this steadier progression.

Football Ultimate Team™ will see the return of Tournaments with a Daily Knockout Tournament during Early Access. Seasons will take players on a journey through football history, revisiting legendary international tournaments with “A World Tour Through History”. The first season will focus on England ’66, the year football “came home”. Silver-level ICONs and Heroes from highlighted tournaments will also be released with unique illustration-style Action Shots.

Addressing community feedback about game mode variety, *FC 26* introduces Live Events with new formats and rewards that scale to the level of competition. These include Gauntlet and the return of Tournaments. Rivals and Champions modes have also been reworked for accessibility and balance. Evolutions are designed to offer players more control over squad upgrades.

Clubs mode expands with deeper progression, more competitive variety, and a clear rhythm of play through Chapters and Seasons. Archetypes will define player growth, and Consumables act as a catch-up tool for new players.

Career Mode will feature Manager Live Challenges and changes to earning ICONs and Heroes in both Player and Manager Career. Weekly live Challenges will be added to the Manager Live Hub. Players will also find unique ICONs to unlock for both Player Career and Manager Career to add a level of prestige.

A new mode, FC Pro Live Events, exclusive to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, offers a simplified path to pro competition. Players reaching Division 4 in Rivals can compete against top players and earn exclusive rewards.
