The event aims to celebrate and promote the rich diversity of leafy green vegetables and support the farmers who cultivate them.

Over 100 varieties of leafy greens, sourced from regions including Savadatti, Kundgol, Shiggaon, Annigeri and Kalghatgi, will be on display and available for purchase. Visitors can explore the many forms the leafy greens take including traditional dishes such as Thalipatti, Pachadi, Pundi Palya, Kuccida Menasinakai and Sege Hunname delicacies prepared by local women’s groups. Fresh green juices will also be available for tasting.

Beyond the leafy greens, the Devadhanya Farmer Producer Company will be present, offering traditional rice, millets, pulses, and various value-added products. Organic oils, fruits, and vegetables will also be available for purchase.
