**Heavy Rainfall Warning Issued for Four Telangana Districts**
Hyderabad, September 16, 2025 – The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a warning of heavy rainfall for four districts in Telangana on Wednesday, September 17, 2025. The affected districts include Vikarabad, Sangareddy, Medak, and Kamareddy, where heavy rainfall is “very likely to occur at isolated places,” according to the IMD’s latest bulletin.
The IMD also forecasts thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds across all 33 districts of the state.
For Hyderabad and its surrounding areas, the forecast predicts generally cloudy skies with “light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied with gusty winds” expected in the evening or night. Mist or hazy conditions are also likely during morning and night hours. The maximum temperature is expected to be around 30 degrees Celsius and the minimum around 22 degrees Celsius.
