**State Bank of India Branch in Vijayapura District Robbed of Cash and Gold Worth Crores**

**HUBBALLIA, India – September 16, 2025, 10:33 PM IST** – A gang of five masked men, dressed in military-style clothing and armed with country-made pistols, robbed a State Bank of India (SBI) branch in Chadchan town, Vijayapura district, on Tuesday evening.

According to police reports, the robbers entered the bank and threatened the manager, cashier, and other employees before tying them up. The perpetrators then proceeded to steal stacks of cash and gold ornaments, the total value of which is currently being assessed.

Superintendent of Police Laxman Nimbargi and other senior officials have arrived on the scene to begin the investigation. The Chadchan Police have registered a case and launched a manhunt to apprehend the accused.

The robbery has attracted a large crowd of onlookers outside the bank.
