**Tragedy Strikes Gujarat Fertilizer Plant: Two Dead, Two Injured in Early Morning Fire**
**Mehsana, Gujarat – September 14, 2025, 12:45 pm IST** – A devastating fire at a fertilizer plant near Sametra village in Gujarat’s Mehsana district claimed the lives of two workers and left two others injured early Sunday morning.
The blaze ignited at approximately 3:00 a.m., according to authorities from the Mehsana rural police station. While the precise cause of the fire remains under investigation, officials confirmed that six workers were present at the plant during the night shift when the incident occurred.
“Two individuals working at the plant during the night shift were tragically charred to death,” stated a police official. “Two others sustained burn injuries and were immediately transported to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.”
Fire brigade personnel were dispatched to the scene and managed to bring the fire under control within approximately one hour. After the flames were extinguished, the charred remains of the two deceased workers were recovered.
Police have identified the victims as Manish, from Bihar, and Fulchand, from Maharashtra. Their bodies have been sent for postmortem examination.
