**NEW YORK, NY -** Eric Trump announced on Friday that he will donate a portion of the proceeds from his upcoming memoir, “Under Siege: My Family’s Fight to Save Our Nation,” to Turning Point USA, the conservative youth organization founded by the late Charlie Kirk. The announcement follows the tragic death of Kirk, who was fatally shot at a Utah university on Wednesday.
“Like all of you, I have been deeply impacted by Charlie’s life,” Trump posted on X. “His story is not over. This movement is not over, and there is still so much more to be done. In honor of Charlie’s life and his incredible legacy, I will be donating a portion of the proceeds from ‘Under Siege’ to Turning Point USA to continue their amazing work.”
Trump’s statement included a link to purchase his book, slated for release in October.
The announcement comes on the heels of the apprehension of the suspected shooter, Tyler Robinson, following a 33-hour manhunt. Utah Governor Spencer Cox confirmed that Robinson was taken into custody after his own family contacted authorities with information implicating him in the shooting. Authorities believe Robinson acted alone and that he was not a current student at Utah Valley University.
