**Bareilly/Jaipur:** A gang believed to be associated with the Goldy Brar gang has claimed responsibility for a recent firing incident at the home of Khushboo Patani, a retired Major and sister of Bollywood actress Disha Patani, in Bareilly. The group, identifying themselves as Virendra Charan and Mahendra Saran from Delana, Rajasthan, stated the attack was retaliation for Khushboo Patani’s remarks perceived as disrespectful towards Hindu saints Aniruddhacharya and Premanand Ji Maharaj.
The claim was made in a social media post attributed to Rohit Godara, a known associate of gangster Goldy Brar. The post, accompanied by “Jai Shri Ram” slogans, explicitly stated that the firing was a response to the alleged insult of revered saints and attempts to demean Sanatan Dharma.
Khushboo Patani had previously faced backlash online for her comments on a statement made by Aniruddhacharya regarding women. While she clarified that her comments were not directed at Swami Premanand, she stood by her criticism of Aniruddhacharya.
Security agencies are currently investigating the authenticity of the post and the whereabouts of Charan and Saran, to determine if they are inside the country or abroad.
The post included a chilling warning to the entertainment industry, stating that the firing was a “trailer” and that any further disrespect towards their religion or saints would result in fatal consequences. The message emphasized their duty to protect their faith and community.
