The announcement was made during a recent round table discussion hosted by Vertex Managed Workspace, a company supporting over 35 organizations in Mangaluru with over 2,000 hassle-free workspaces.

John Maier, Chief Executive Officer of Bose Professional, stated that the decision to locate the Global Capability Centre (GCC) in Mangaluru was driven by the city’s vibrant ecosystem and abundant talent pool. Visiting the GCC at Vertex Treo, Kadri, he shared that the team has expanded from a single employee to 25 under the direction of Namith Padmaraj and is projected to grow to 100 professionals within the next year. Dakshina Kannada Deputy Commissioner H.V. Darshan highlighted the strategic importance of GCCs in driving Mangaluru’s digital transformation. Drawing from his experience in developing Karnataka’s GCC policy, Darshan emphasized the city’s potential in areas like Animation, Visual, Gaming, and Comics (AVGC) sound technologies. He credited Karnataka’s “Beyond Bengaluru” initiative and proactive policies for enabling Tier II cities like Mangaluru to attract and sustain high-value investments.
