**Hyderabad, India – September 11, 2025** – Several districts of Telangana experienced heavy to moderate rainfall on Thursday morning, disrupting daily life and prompting warnings from the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

According to data from the Telangana Development Planning Society (TGDPS), Medak mandal recorded the highest rainfall between 8:30 AM and 11:00 AM with 69.8 mm. Other districts like Wanaparthy, Sangareddy, Kamareddy, Nagarkurnool, Jogulamba Gadwal, and Vikarabad also experienced moderate rainfall.

The IMD had issued a bulletin on September 10th, forecasting heavy rainfall as “very likely” in Kumaram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Suryapet, and Mahabubabad districts on Thursday. The bulletin also warned of thunderstorms with lightning and gusty winds (30-40 kmph) across all districts.
