**RANIPET, INDIA – September 10, 2025** – Three men are in custody after allegedly sexually assaulting a 19-year-old woman near Ranipet. G. Parthiban, 23, V. Raja, 24, and K. Sivaraj, 23, all contract workers at a coconut seed farm operated by the Tamil Nadu Horticulture Department in Navlak village, were arrested early this morning.

According to Ranipet SIPCOT police, the incident occurred on Sunday night. The victim was reportedly traveling home with a male friend when the suspects, allegedly under the influence of alcohol, stopped their vehicle. After chasing away the friend, the men allegedly took the woman to the farm and sexually assaulted her.
