**Michigan Coach Sherrone Moore Taunts Oklahoma Fans Ahead of Top-20 Showdown**

**ANN ARBOR, MI -** In a display of pre-game bravado, Michigan Wolverines head coach Sherrone Moore fueled the fire ahead of today’s highly anticipated clash against the Oklahoma Sooners with a playful taunt directed at Sooner fans. As Moore, an Oklahoma University alum, emerged from the tunnel, he was met with a chorus of boos from the Oklahoma faithful. In response, Moore reportedly held his hands to his ears, feigning deafness, and gestured for the crowd to amplify their jeers.

“Sherrone Moore is fired up,” tweeted Michigan Wolverines sports writer Scott Bell. “He just ran out of the tunnel and was met with a big round of boos, and he held up his hand to his ear as if he couldn’t hear the crowd and encouraged them to be louder. No shortage of emotion coming from Michigan’s head coach (an OU alum) in this one.”

The Wolverines, ranked No. 15, are riding high after a decisive 34-17 victory over New Mexico in Week 1. However, today’s matchup against the No. 18 Sooners promises a stiffer test for Moore’s squad.

This game is not affected by Moore’s previously announced suspension related to the University’s sign-stealing scandal under former coach Jim Harbaugh. Moore’s suspension will commence in Week 3 against Central Michigan and continue into the following week.
