**Cyberabad Traffic Alert: Diversions in Place for Ganesh Idol Immersion (Sept. 4-6)**
**Cyberabad, India – September 5, 2025** – Major traffic diversions are in effect across Cyberabad from September 4th to 6th to accommodate Ganesh idol immersion processions. The Cyberabad traffic police have announced a comprehensive plan to ensure the smooth flow of the religious events at various lakes and tanks throughout the commissionerate.
Several key routes are affected. Near IDL Lake in Kukatpally, the IDL Tank Road is closed to general traffic, with access granted only to immersion vehicles. Traffic heading from Kukatpally Y Junction towards Madhapur will be rerouted via JNTU, Forum Mall, and Hitech City. Conversely, vehicles traveling from Madhapur to Kukatpally Y Junction will be diverted via KPHB 4th Phase Road No. 1, Remedy Hospital U-turn.
In Pragathi Nagar, the road between Srinivasa Steel and Three Monkey Junction is closed. Traffic from Gandimaisamma and Pragathi Nagar bound for JNTU will be diverted through Nizampet, while traffic from JNTU to Pragathi Nagar Colony will be rerouted via Konaseema Hotel Road and Kolan Raghava Reddy Gardens.
Restrictions are also in place around Gangaram Lake in RC Puram, Kattamaisamma Tank in Jeedimetla, and Pathikunta Tank in Rajendranagar. Heavy vehicles will be diverted on several routes.
