**Kannada Blockbuster “Su From So” Arrives on JioHotstar After Smashing Box Office Records**
**BANGALORE, INDIA – September 4, 2025** – The Kannada film industry’s biggest hit of the year, “Su From So,” is set to stream on JioHotstar starting September 5th. The comedy film, written and directed by JP Thuminad and produced by Raj B Shetty, took the Karnataka box office by storm, amassing over ₹100 crore in the state alone.
“Su From So” stars Thuminad, known for his role in “Sapta Sagaradaache Ello Side B,” alongside Raj B Shetty in a prominent role, Shaneel Gautham, Sandhya Arekere, and others. The film’s success allowed it to be sold to JioHotstar for ₹5.5 crore, covering production, promotion, and theatrical release costs.
The film follows Sulochana from Someshwar. World-wide, the film has grossed ₹121 crore and counting.
Released on July 25th, “Su From So” also saw a Malayalam dubbed version released in Kerala by Dulquer Salmaan, where it earned ₹5.7 crore net. A Telugu dubbed version followed, though with less success. Remake rights have reportedly been sought, with a Tamil version potentially in the works by NS Rajkumar.
“Su From So” will be available on JioHotstar (also via OTTplay Premium) in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Hindi.
