**Nashville, TN** – Retired NFL star Jason Kelce, father of four daughters, addressed his family’s future plans in a candid interview on the “Bussin’ with the Boys” podcast. While acknowledging the potential “fun” of having a son, Kelce emphasized gratitude for his daughters and expressed openness to ending their family expansion at four.

“I mean, listen, if a boy happened, that would be fun,” Kelce admitted. “But I think at the end of the day, I say what my dad always said: We’re very blessed to have four healthy, smart, charismatic, amazing children, and I would not trade any of that for a second.”

Kelce, who shares daughters Wyatt (5), Elliotte (4), Bennett (2), and Finnley (5 months) with wife Kylie, revealed the couple initially had different visions for their family size. “I wanted three kids early on… And Kylie said she wanted five. So we’re at four now, and I think we’ll see. That might be it.”

His wife, Kylie Kelce, previously voiced frustration with the societal pressure for the couple to have a son. Speaking on the Sunday Sports Club podcast in January, she pushed back against the idea that Jason needed a boy to carry on his football legacy. “People put this strange pressure on the idea that my husband is supposed to have a boy because ‘He’s going to follow in his footsteps, and he’s going to be a football player, and he needs to play catch in the yard,'” she said. “I hate to break it to you, but our kids play catch with him all the time. He’s fine.”

Jason also revealed that the couple has begun discussing the possibility of a vasectomy. “Once we’re done [having kids] for sure, I’m definitely getting it done,” he stated. “I think we’re still kind of in that [phase of], ‘Are we done or are we just figuring it out?'”

The full interview, which covered a wide range of topics from football to family life, is available on the “Bussin’ with the Boys” podcast.
