According to the complaint filed with the Uppinangady police, Geetesh last saw his cow in its shed at approximately 2:30 AM. Upon returning at 6:30 AM, he found the animal missing. A subsequent search of his farm revealed the cow’s carcass. Geetesh alleges that thieves stole the cow, slaughtered it on his property, and made off with the meat.
