**LOWELL, Mass. –** The UMass Lowell women’s soccer team (1-3-1) will continue their home stand at Cushing Field, kicking off September with two key matchups. First, they face Central Connecticut State (0-3-1) on September 3rd at 6:00 p.m. before closing out the week against defending Patriot League Champions, Boston University (3-2-0), on September 7th, also at 6:00 p.m.
The River Hawks are coming off a mixed week, having lost 4-0 to Kansas State and then drawing 0-0 against UMass in their Kennedy Cup Rivalry match, where sophomore goalkeeper Rachel Welch earned her first collegiate shutout.
