**Bill Williams, Former Marysville Resident, Dies at 76**

MARYSVILLE, MI – Bill Williams, 76, formerly of Marysville, passed away on Monday, September 1, 2025. Born August 5, 1949, in Port Huron, to the late George and June Williams, Bill was a 1968 graduate of Marysville High School.

He served in the United States Air Force before earning a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Western Michigan University. Bill had a career in finance, first with Uarco, and then with the Defense Finance and Accounting Service, retiring after 25 years in 2006.

A devoted Detroit sports fan, especially of the Lions, Bill also enjoyed reading, fishing, and staying informed on current events, politics, and history.

He is survived by his wife, Constance Williams; son, Dennis (Brenda) Williams; grandchildren, Matthew (Whitney) Sommerville, Emily (Ian) Affleck-Asch, and Miles Williams; great-granddaughter, Olivia Affleck-Asch; step-son, Rick (Ann Marie) Lomasney; step-daughter, Annea (Keith) Fisher; step-grandchildren, Logan and Landon Lomasney; brothers, Dick and Dave Williams; and Janet Williams, mother to his son.
