**NEW YORK, NY** – Wednesday Addams might shudder at the thought of socializing, but even she might have cracked a smirk at the “Graveyard Gala” thrown last night by Netflix and Spotify to celebrate the upcoming *Wednesday* Season 2, Part 2. The hauntingly chic event transformed Guastavino’s in New York City into a Tim Burton-esque wonderland for 300 lucky fans, influencers, press, and top *Wednesday* listeners on Spotify.
Stars Jenna Ortega (Wednesday Addams), Emma Myers (Enid Sinclair), and Joy Sunday (Bianca Barclay) graced the event, immersed in an atmosphere thick with fog, raven props, and eerie headstones adorned with *Wednesday* Easter eggs. Attendees sipped on themed cocktails and nibbled on spooky snacks amidst moss-covered trees and spider-webbed iron fences. Poets crafted custom epitaph haikus, while aura readers divined which *Wednesday* character best reflected each guest’s inner self.
The biggest surprise of the night came in the form of a cameo from Lady Gaga, who revealed she will be featured in Season 2. Gaga’s involvement with the show started with the viral success of “Bloody Mary” that was used in season one’s viral dance sequence. The Grammy-winning artist gave attendees an exclusive sneak peek of her electrifying new single, set to feature in the upcoming season.
But the collaboration doesn’t stop there. Netflix also announced at their Tudum 2025 event that Gaga will make an appearance in *Wednesday* Season 2, Part 2 as Rosaline Rotwood, a legendary Nevermore teacher.
Ortega, who also serves as a producer on the show, raved about Gaga’s seamless transformation into the character. “If you’re into *Wednesday*, if you’re into Lady Gaga, you should be very excited to see her in Part 2 – it really works. She’s unbelievable,” Ortega said.
Director Tim Burton echoed the sentiment, praising Gaga’s artistry. “She’s a real artist, and I’m grateful for what she contributed to the show,” Burton told Tudum.
Gaga herself shared her excitement about contributing to the show, “I’m thrilled to release this song alongside Wednesday. I’m a huge fan of the show and had so much fun appearing in it to support ‘The Dead Dance.’” She also offered a sneak peak into the new single which she said was, “inspired by a breakup, and it was all about the way that we sometimes feel when it’s over; how a relationship ending can kill our ability to feel hopeful about love. It’s got this really cool, funky beat underneath it.”
The evening concluded with a Spotify-curated playlist by DJ Whitney Marston Pierce, keeping the “dead dancing” well into the night. While awaiting the release of *Wednesday* Season 2, Part 2, fans can rest assured that this new season promises a chilling, captivating, and surprisingly lively experience, with a dash of Gaga-esque flair.
