**ISRO Technologies Find New Homes in Indian Industries, Boost Self-Reliance**

**Bengaluru, August 29, 2025 (IST)** – In a significant move towards bolstering Indian self-reliance and commercializing space technologies, the Indian National Space Promotion and Authorization Centre (IN-SPACe) has successfully transferred five ISRO-developed technologies to various Indian companies. The move, announced earlier today, is expected to have a cascading effect on multiple sectors, including automotive, biomedical, and industrial manufacturing.

IN-SPACe, the nodal agency for private sector participation in space activities, highlighted that the technology transfers are aimed at reducing dependence on imports, enhancing domestic capabilities, and driving wider applications of cutting-edge innovations.

Among the transferred technologies is a Low Temperature Co-Fired Ceramic (LTCC) Multi-Chip Module, developed by ISRO’s Space Application Centre (SAC). This module, designed to integrate multiple semiconductor chips into a single compact unit, has been acquired by Pune-based Voltix Semicon Pvt. Ltd. for use in high-volume RT-PCR kit production. Currently, Voltix relies on imports for this technology.

Another key transfer involves RTV Silicone Single-Part Adhesive (SILCEM R9), a room-temperature curable adhesive developed by Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC). Ahmedabad-based Crest Speciality Resins Pvt. Ltd. will now manufacture this adhesive for use in solar panel bonding, ending its reliance on imports.

“These transfers highlight the growing capability and confidence of Indian industry,” said Dr. Pawan Goenka, Chairman of IN-SPACe. “While some of these technologies will directly substitute imports, others will unlock applications well beyond the space sector. The true impact will be realised when industry scales them up for widespread use. IN-SPACe, together with ISRO and NewSpace India Limited, will remain a strong partner in enabling that journey.”

Additional technologies transferred include film adhesives to Azista Composites Pvt. Ltd., a 30W HMC DC-DC Converter to Ananth Technologies Pvt. Ltd., and a process for anodizing 3D-printed aluminum alloys to Pushpak Aerospace India Pvt. Ltd.

With these five latest Technology Transfer Agreements (TTAs), the total number of TTAs executed with industries reaches 98, signalling an accelerating momentum in the commercialization of Indian space technologies.
