**Fertilizer Shortage Averted in Srikakulam as Minister Achannaidu Orders Swift Action**
**Kotabommali, Andhra Pradesh – August 28, 2025** – Andhra Pradesh Minister Kinjarapu Achannaidu has directed agricultural officials in Srikakulam district to take immediate and decisive steps to ensure farmers involved in Kharif cultivation do not face a shortage of fertilizers.
The Minister issued these orders during a review meeting held at his camp office in Nimmada, Kotabommali Mandal on Thursday. Recognizing the increased demand for urea due to delayed rainfall this year, Minister Achannaidu emphasized the urgent need to provide farmers with the fertilizers they require in full.
“We must ensure farmers receive the fertilizers they need to cultivate their crops. The 500 metric tons currently held as a buffer stock should be immediately distributed to the farmers,” Minister Achannaidu stated. He also instructed officials to ensure a smooth and efficient distribution process, preventing any disruptions.
Further underscoring his commitment, Minister Achannaidu contacted the Commissioner of Agriculture via telephone, urging the immediate dispatch of fertilizer shipments to the district.
During the meeting, Minister Achannaidu also handed over appointment letters to four field assistants in the Mandal, urging them to perform their duties with responsibility.
The meeting was attended by Joint Director of Agriculture Trinath Rao, Srinivasa Rao, Former PACS President Kinjarapu Harivara Prasad, TDP Mandal President Boyina Ramesh, and TDP leaders Velamala Kameswara Rao and Vijayalakshmi.
