**Soha Ali Khan Reveals Initial Reaction to Brother Saif’s Relationship with Kareena Kapoor**
Actress and author Soha Ali Khan has shared insights into the early days of her sister-in-law, Kareena Kapoor Khan’s, relationship with her brother, Saif Ali Khan. Speaking on her new wellness podcast series, “All About Her,” Soha, 46, recounted the moment Saif, 55, first told her he was dating Kareena, 44.
“I remember my brother calling me while we were shooting something, and said ‘I wanted you to know that my girlfriend was two years younger than you’ or something along those lines. I said, ‘Okay, great’,” Soha revealed. She added that she intentionally reserved judgement until she met Kareena, understanding that preconceptions often fall short.
The actress also revealed that building a close relationship with Kareena took time. “I genuinely think that during our first few meetings, I didn’t really get to know her; it required time. Building a relationship with certain individuals demands time, trust, and consistency. I felt that it took that time between Kareena and me. There have been several incidents that have occurred over the last 10 to 12 years that have brought us closer,” she explained.
Dispelling the notion that Kareena is solely a source of Bollywood gossip, Soha emphasized her sister-in-law’s depth and wisdom. “She is a source of a wealth of information, I have no idea how she does it… But there is much more to her than gossip in terms of real wisdom.”
Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan, who have a 10-year age gap, are parents to Taimur, 8, and Jeh, 4.
