**SACRAMENTO, CA (Aug 20, 2025) -** Emma Heming Willis, wife of actor Bruce Willis, celebrated a significant victory in the fight for frontotemporal dementia (FTD) awareness this week as California state legislators passed a resolution establishing Sept. 21-27 as Frontotemporal Degeneration (FTD) Awareness Week. Willis, who has been a vocal advocate since her husband’s diagnosis, joined members of the Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration (AFTD) and other advocates at the State Capitol on Monday to witness the historic moment.
