**New Delhi, August 18, 2025** – The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is closing the online application window today for recruitment to the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO), Ministry of Labour and Employment. Aspiring candidates seeking roles as Enforcement Officer/Accounts Officer and Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner are urged to apply immediately via the official websites: upsc.gov.in or upsconline.nic.in.
A total of 130 vacancies are available, with 56 positions for Enforcement Officer/Accounts Officer and 74 for Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner. A bachelor’s degree from a recognized university is the minimum eligibility requirement for both posts. For the APFC position, a diploma in Company Law, Labour Laws, or Public Administration is considered desirable.
The selection process involves a Combined Recruitment Test (CRT) conducted offline (pen and paper), followed by an interview. The final merit list will be based on a 75:25 ratio of CRT and interview scores. The CRT date will be announced later on the UPSC website.
The examination will be held across 78 cities in India. Candidates are advised to apply early as center allotment is on a “first-apply-first allot” basis. Once a center reaches its capacity, it will be frozen.
The age limit for Enforcement Officer/Accounts Officer is 30 years, while it is 35 years for Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner, with applicable relaxations as per government rules.
Successful candidates will be responsible for a range of duties including enforcement, recovery, accounts management, administration, legal matters, pension-related tasks, and general administration.
