**Former ATV Executive Director Terence Shing Hospitalized in Critical Condition**

**HONG KONG** – Terence Shing, former Executive Director of Asia Television (ATV), is reportedly battling a severe illness and is currently in intensive care, his wife, socialite Tsai Yat-fung, confirmed on Friday.

Shing, who is married to Tsai Yat-fung and father to six-year-old twins, is reportedly struggling with late-stage liver cancer. Although Tsai Yat-fung did not explicitly confirm the diagnosis, she acknowledged Shing’s wishes to keep his condition private and refrained from denying the reports.

According to reports, Shing’s condition deteriorated significantly, leading to hospitalization and the need for life-support measures. Sources indicate he has experienced a drastic weight loss, dropping to 70 pounds, and is heavily reliant on medical equipment in the ICU. Despite his weakened state, Tsai Yat-fung reported that Shing’s consciousness has improved slightly, and he is now able to nod in response to her questions.

Tsai Yat-fung has remained a constant presence at her husband’s bedside, offering unwavering support. “I will be here to support you, can you hold on?” she asked Shing, to which he reportedly responded with a nod.

The couple’s young twins recently visited their father in the hospital, an experience that left them deeply saddened. Shing, concerned for their well-being, has reportedly asked that they limit their visits to avoid potential exposure to infection.

Tsai Yat-fung is proactively providing updates to friends and family about Shing’s condition. She has expressed her commitment to standing by her husband and requested privacy for their family during this difficult time.
