Speaking to party office-bearers in Mumbai on Monday, Raj Thackeray emphasized the possibility of reconciliation, stating, “After 20 years if we brothers can come together, why can’t you put aside your differences?”
The Thackeray cousins, separated politically for two decades, have recently hinted at a potential reunion, attending several events together and engaging in discussions that have ignited rumors of an alliance ahead of upcoming local elections. The growing speculation increased after Raj attended Uddhav’s birthday and they spent 20 minutes in discussion.
Beyond the potential political alliance, Raj Thackeray also addressed the issue of Hindi “imposition,” a topic that recently saw the cousins unite in opposition.
