**New England Revolution Host D.C. United in Alumni Night Showdown**

**FOXBOROUGH, MA –** The New England Revolution (6-11-7, 25 pts.) will celebrate 30 seasons of soccer and host D.C. United (4-14-7, 19 pts.) at Gillette Stadium on Saturday, August 9th, at 7:30 p.m. ET. The match, the 100th all-time meeting between these MLS originals, will also serve as the club’s inaugural Alumni Night, welcoming back several all-time greats.

Fans attending the match will have the opportunity to celebrate the club’s history with retro viewfinders distributed at the gates, reels displaying iconic moments, and recognition of the Revolution All-Time Team at halftime. A special “Meet the Greats” event, featuring unlimited food, beer, and wine, will be held before the game, allowing fans to mingle with legends from the Revolution’s past.

On the field, the Revs look to end a nine-game winless streak (0-7-2) and reignite their playoff hopes as they enter the final 10 games of the regular season. D.C. United, also struggling with a nine-game winless run (0-8-1) and a recent coaching change, are desperate for points as they sit near the bottom of the MLS table.

The Revolution will be wearing their newly unveiled “’96 Kit” as part of the adidas x MLS Archive Collection, paying homage to the team’s original wordmark, bold colors, and front-facing numbers from the 1990s.
