**Leagues Cup Returns to MLS Season Pass on Apple TV, Kicking Off July 29**

**CUPERTINO, CA – July 26, 2024** – The highly anticipated Leagues Cup, the Concacaf-sanctioned tournament featuring clubs from Liga MX and Major League Soccer, is set to return on July 29, exclusively on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV. This marks the third year of the competition, offering fans in over 100 countries and regions the chance to witness every match live and on-demand.

The tournament will run through August 31, culminating in the Leagues Cup Final. This year also introduces a new format, with MLS and Liga MX teams facing off exclusively in Phase One and the Quarterfinals.

Leagues Cup 2025 will feature a total of 62 matches with no ties. The regular seasons for both leagues will continue through the month of August, with most knockout matches played midweek.

The stakes are high, as the top three teams will secure automatic berths into the 2026 Concacaf Champions Cup, offering a pathway to represent the confederation at the FIFA Club World Cup.

“I’m very excited to play in the Leagues Cup with San Diego FC,” said forward Hirving “Chucky” Lozano. “It’s going to be a great tournament between MLS and Liga MX, and a perfect opportunity to show what San Diego is made of.”

Columbus Crew are the reigning champions, having won the 2024 trophy after a dramatic victory over Los Angeles Football Club. The inaugural Leagues Cup in 2023 saw Lionel Messi make his debut for Inter Miami CF, leading his club to victory while earning Golden Boot and MVP awards.
