**Rangers Place Jacob Webb on 15-Day IL, Recall Luis Curvelo**
**ARLINGTON, TX -** The Texas Rangers announced today that right-handed pitcher Jacob Webb has been placed on the 15-day injured list, retroactive to July 29th, due to back spasms. The move comes after Webb experienced discomfort during his July 28th appearance against the Los Angeles Angels. According to the Rangers, Webb did not show improvement over the past two days, leading to the decision to place him on the IL.
To fill Webb’s spot on the roster, the Rangers have recalled right-handed pitcher Luis Curvelo from Triple-A Round Rock. Curvelo will wear number 57.
The Rangers will look to Curvelo to contribute to the bullpen as they navigate Webb’s absence. Further updates on Webb’s condition will be provided as they become available.
