Sun Aug 03 14:30:00 UTC 2025: ## Norris Triumphs in Thrilling Hungarian Grand Prix as Hamilton Struggles

**Hungaroring, Hungary** – Lando Norris secured a hard-fought victory at the Hungarian Grand Prix, capitalizing on a one-stop strategy to outpace his McLaren teammate Oscar Piastri in a nail-biting finish. The two McLarens battled fiercely for the lead in the closing laps, providing a spectacular show for the crowd. Norris ultimately held off Piastri’s relentless attacks, securing the win.

“I’m dead. It was tough,” a breathless Norris admitted after the race. “We weren’t planning on the one-stop at the beginning but it was our only real option to get back into things.”

George Russell secured a podium finish for Mercedes, while Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc, who started on pole, faded to finish off the podium.

Meanwhile, it was a disappointing weekend for Lewis Hamilton, who finished outside the points. He voiced his frustration with his car’s performance, with some speculating about his future with the team.

Reigning World Champion Max Verstappen finished behind Liam Lawson, a driver Red Bull had discarded earlier this season.

The drivers and teams will now enjoy a well-deserved break before the season resumes at the Dutch Grand Prix in Zandvoort from August 29th-31st.
