**West End Stars Elaine Paige and Bernadette Peters Unite for Third Annual “West End Woofs (and Meows)” Animal Adoption Event**

**Covent Garden, London –** Get ready for a star-studded adoption event! West End icons Elaine Paige and Broadway legend Bernadette Peters are teaming up once again to host “West End Woofs (and Meows),” a live animal adoption event at St. Paul’s Church in Covent Garden on August 9th.

The event kicks off at 10:15 AM with a meet and greet featuring adorable dogs and cats from a variety of shelters and rescue groups, including All Dogs Matter, Fetcher Dog Rescue Centre, Home Run Hounds (Greyhounds), Noah’s Ark Dog Rescue, Peterborough Cat Rescue, Pro Dogs Direct, Saving Saints Rescue (St. Bernards), and Saving Souls Animal Rescue.

At 11 AM, the spotlight shifts to the stage as the furry adoptees make their debut alongside a dazzling array of West End performers from hit shows such as *Hamilton, Les Misérables, Oliver!, The Devil Wears Prada,* and *The Phantom of the Opera*. Special guests include Harry Apps, Richard Dempsey, Peter Egan, Claire-Marie Hall, Cassidy Janson, Robert Lindsay, Frances Mayli McCann, Mazz Murray, Paul Nicholas, Lesley Nicol, Orfeh, John Owen Jones, Joanna Riding, Wayne Sleep, and Helen Worth.

Paige and Peters, who previously co-hosted a virtual edition during lockdown and launched the live event in 2023, are thrilled to continue their partnership to find loving homes for deserving animals.
