**BOSTON -** Tensions flared at Fenway Park on Saturday as the benches cleared briefly following a heated exchange between Houston Astros reliever Héctor Neris and Boston Red Sox third-base coach Kyle Hudson in the seventh inning.
The incident appeared to be sparked by Neris’s actions during the bottom of the seventh. With Red Sox shortstop Trevor Story on second base, Neris seemingly balked Story to third base, reportedly suspecting Story of stealing signs.
After Carlos Narváez grounded out to end the inning, Neris appeared to direct words towards Hudson as he crossed the field. Hudson initially continued towards the dugout but stopped to yell back at Neris, prompting both benches and bullpens to rush the field.
Umpires quickly intervened and restored order before the situation escalated further. Play resumed without any ejections or further incidents.
