Fri Aug 01 22:30:00 UTC 2025: ## Fever Soar into Dallas on Three-Game Winning Streak, Clark Remains Sidelined

**DALLAS, TX** – The Indiana Fever (15-12) ride a wave of momentum into Dallas tonight as they face the Wings (8-20) at the American Airlines Center. Tip-off is set for 7:30 p.m. ET. The game marks the start of a challenging four-game road trip for Indiana.

The Fever are coming off an impressive week, securing three consecutive wins, including season series victories over the Las Vegas Aces and Chicago Sky. Wednesday’s dominant performance against the Phoenix Mercury, the league’s No. 3 team, further solidified their recent surge.

“Indiana has gotten some consistency, even with Caitlin Clark out, and that has been key for the Fever as they go into this four-game road trip,” says IndyStar’s Chloe Peterson, who predicts an 85-72 victory for Indiana.

Aari McDonald led the charge against Phoenix, erupting for a career-high 27 points. Aliyah Boston also delivered a standout performance, dominating the fourth quarter with 17 points and finishing with her fourth consecutive double-double (22 points, 12 rebounds).

However, the Fever remain without star rookie Caitlin Clark, who is sidelined with a right groin injury suffered on July 15. After seeking a second opinion, the Fever announced there were no signs of additional damage and are focused on a long-term recovery plan for Clark. There is currently no timetable for her return. While Clark remains on the sidelines, the rookie averages 16.5 points, 8.8 assists, 5.0 rebounds and 1.6 steals in 13 games this season.

The Dallas Wings, meanwhile, have struggled to find consistency this season due to injuries and inconsistent play. Despite the efforts of 2025 No. 1 pick Paige Bueckers, the Wings have been unable to build a cohesive unit.

Oddsmakers favor the Fever in tonight’s matchup, with Indiana holding a -185 moneyline compared to Dallas’ +150. ESPN’s matchup predictor gives the Fever a 52.8% chance of victory.
