**Ulster County Fair Returns with New Heights and Familiar Fun!**
**NEW PALTZ, NY -** The annual Ulster County Fair is back, running now through Sunday, August 3rd, 2025, at the Ulster County Fairgrounds on Libertyville Road. A beloved Hudson Valley tradition for 137 years, the fair promises a week of family-friendly entertainment, showcasing the best of the region’s agriculture, food, and talent.
This year’s fair boasts a thrilling addition: New York State’s Largest Traveling Ferris Wheel! Standing at an impressive 110 feet tall, “The Wheel” offers breathtaking panoramic views of the fairgrounds and surrounding landscape. With 24 family-sized gondolas adorned with over 25,000 LED lights, it’s an experience not to be missed.
Beyond the Ferris wheel, fairgoers can enjoy traditional 4-H exhibits, games, and a wide variety of food vendors. The JSP Home Services Stage will feature a diverse lineup of live entertainment throughout the week, including:

* Wednesday, July 30th: Chubby Checker (8:00 PM)
* Thursday, July 31st: Cook & Belle (8:00 PM)
* Friday, August 1st: Lorrie Morgan (8:00 PM)
* Saturday, August 2nd: Asia Featuring John Payne (8:00 PM)
* Sunday, August 3rd: Emily Ann Roberts (5:30 PM)
Other highlights include a fireworks display on Wednesday and a Truck Pull on Thursday.
Admission is $15 and includes parking, fair entry, and access to all JSP Home Services Stage entertainment, as well as the fireworks and truck pull. Ride tickets are sold separately and can be purchased individually or with an unlimited ride wristband online or at the fairgrounds.
