**Popular Actor Kalabhavan Nawas Passes Away Unexpectedly, Leaving Colleagues in Shock**

**Kochi, Kerala:** The Malayalam film industry is mourning the sudden demise of actor Kalabhavan Nawas, who was found dead in his hotel room in Chottanikkara on Friday. He was in Chottanikkara for the shooting of his latest film, “Prakampanam.”

Nawas’s unexpected death has sent shockwaves through the industry, with colleagues expressing their disbelief and grief. Actor and director Nadirshah stated he couldn’t imagine such a thing, describing Nawas as a healthy individual who took good care of himself.

P.P. Kunjikrishnan, who was acting alongside Nawas in “Prakampanam,” remembered him as a gentle and amiable person. “He was perfectly fine during the shoot, without any sign of illness. He casually went to his room to freshen up, and we never expected this,” Kunjikrishnan said. He added that Nawas had joined the set on the 25th and had planned to visit home for a couple of days since there was no shooting. He was actively pursuing his film career and was happy about his work and family.

Actor Kalabhavan Rahman, a close friend of Nawas and his brother Niyas, said he was at a loss for words. “We spoke every day. It’s unbelievable that this happened to someone who was so health-conscious and careful,” Rahman stated.

Nawas was found in his hotel room after he failed to check out as scheduled. Hotel staff discovered him unresponsive on the bed.

The son of renowned theater and film actor Aboobacker, Nawas made his film debut with “Mimics Action 500” and has since appeared in numerous notable roles.

He is survived by his wife, Rehna, and their three children: Nahrin, Ridwan, and Rihan. His brother, Niyas Backer, is also an actor.
