**Heights to Don White Linens for Annual Art & Community Celebration**
HOUSTON, TX – The Greater Heights neighborhood will transform into a sea of white on Saturday, August 2, 2025, as the annual White Linen Night returns to celebrate art, culture, and community.
The highly anticipated summer soiree, inspired by the New Orleans tradition, will see thousands of Houstonians decked out in their finest white attire. The main hub of activity will once again be 19th Street, where a two-block stretch from Ashland to Yale will be shut down to traffic to make way for local businesses, artists, live music, DJs, and vendors.
In an effort to manage crowds, the official 19th Street event now requires a ticket for entry. However, numerous free events and pop-up parties will be taking place throughout the Greater Heights area.
M-K-T will host the Houston Plant Market, offering a family- and pet-friendly outdoor marketplace with plants, artisan goods, live music, and a community art activity. The popular “Off The Street” pop-up will bring back the original spirit of White Linen Night with around 40 artists selling paintings, sculptures, photography, and jewelry.
White Oak Drive will come alive with a vibrant nightlife scene as bars and restaurants such as Little Woodrow’s Heights, EZ’s Liquor Lounge, and Onion Creek Cafe host themed parties with live music, drink specials, and food trucks.
Other notable events include a White Linen Night bash at The Shiloh Club, a Summer Brewery Crawl in the First Ward, a “Desert Disco” party at Moonshine Deck, and a “White Hot Fever” party at Cedar Creek Bar & Grill. Heights Bier Garten will also be hosting a celebration with live music, a photo booth, and a best-dressed contest.
Whether you’re looking for a bustling street party or a more laid-back atmosphere, White Linen Night in the Heights promises something for everyone on August 2nd.
